PHUKET: The July 7 tournament is the second of 11 monthly events in the Phuket Amateur Open Golf series, and follows on from the tournament last month at Laguna Phuket. The goal of the Phuket Amateur Open Golf series, played on five courses, is to determine Phuket's 'Best Amateur Golfer'. As in each of the first nine monthly tournaments in the series, players finishing in 1st and 2nd place in each category in this second (July 7) tournament at Loch Palm will qualify for the 11th tournament, which is the season final Masters Championship 2011.
