THAI DIVING ASSOCIATION 1 Star CMAS Course @ DEWA

Thai Diving Association together with Dewa Phuket, Phuket Tourism & Sports office, Phuket Provincial Office, Aqua Divers and Eden Divers organized a 3 days CMAS 1 Star Divers Course for 14 representatives from the various government bodies at the Resort Pool of Dewa Phuket followed by a one day open water dive at Koh Racha.

Joint Beach Clean Up

Many hands make light work and this is so true when
Dewa Phuket together with other resorts and businesses located on Naiyang Beach got together to clean up Naiyang Beach early this month. Many thanks to AIS for sponsoring bottled water during this exercise.

Phuket’s newest attraction: Big Buddha

Perched atop Nakkerd Hills, on the way to Chalong, is Phuket’s newest attraction. The Phra Puttamingmongkol Akenakkiri Buddha as it is officially named is 45 meters high and 25 meters wide. Its surface is covered by white marble and cost more than 30 million Baht to construct. Set on 7.8 hectare, this is not only a stunning view point amidst the green peaceful forest, but also a place of worship.
