Dewa Phuket celebrated its first Christmas and New Years

Dewa Phuket celebrates it’s first Christmas the Thai way with Thai food, Thai music & Thai Dance. Santa made his presence on Christmas Day and brought presents to the kids whilst moms and dads had a nice traditional Christmas Brunch by the Resort Pool, enjoying the entertainment put on by the Island Steel Band.

Lanterns and fireworks complete the last night of 2008, and champagne flowed, ushering in a new start to 2009. We had children swimming in the pool and adults going on to their 3rd wind at 4am, amongst them were a couple who had a flight to catch at 7.30am.

Dewa Phuket opens Thai cooking classes with Chef Suporn.

There are several excellent diving spots easily reachable from Dewa Phuket. Including the Phi Phi Islands, the Similans and small islands in the South of Phuket. The cool and dry season, November to April is the best time to go diving in the Phuket and Southern Thailand region.

There are many diving centers in Phuket offering diving classes and programs for all skills for beginners to experienced divers.
